TROOP MEETING – Monday, July 12th Pre-Tomahawk Sign-ups. 6:30 PM.

There will be a second mini-Pre-Tomahawk sign-up on Monday July 26th, 7-7:30PM.

-         Contact Ms Murzyn via e-mail (Michelle_Murzyn@anchorlink.com) or phone( 612-789-9470 )to get final payment amount. Must be paid prior to leaving for camp.

-         Contact Mr Lawonn, plawonn@msn.com, for Health Forms. Must be turned in by Aug 1st.

 Remember: you must pre-arrange with your tent buddy and get their agreement if you are signing-up on alternative date. 

New Health Forms effective Jan 1, 2010.  

These forms, developed by BSA, are now used for youth & adults and require annual review & signature of a heath care provider. Although several different health forms are currently on file with the Troop and will meet our needs for outings in the near term, the new form will be required for all Troop outings beginning with Tomahawk in August, 2010 and thereafter.

1st  Class Requirement #5

For any Scouts working on 2nd or 1st class advancement. Rep. Kate Knuth

Minnesota State House, District 50B has volunteered her time to talk about our constitutional rights and obligations as US citizens. This will fulfill 1st class requirement #5. Friday, July 23rd.  8:30 am. Please contact Ms Axberg at (651) 633-9917 to RSVP. 

Family Fun Shoot

Please see attached for information from the Dakota Gun Club. This could be of interest to scouts who like shooting sports.  

CPR Training. Wed, 7/21, 6-10PM

CPR training has been scheduled for Wednesday, July 21st from 6-10PM at CtK (M101-103).  This is the American Heart Assoc course offered by instructors from MN Medical Training Services and will cover adult, child, and infant CPR.  It will also cover AED training.  The training is valid for two years.  

You are welcome to attend.  We need to let them know if we exceed 20 people, so please RSVP to Phil Lawonn by email, plawonn@msn.com,  if you will be attending.  The total cost for the course is $240 ($40 per person for 6, decreasing with more folks).  We will determine the per person cost the night of the training. 

This is valuable training and I hope you will take advantage of it.  Again, please confirm your attendance with an RSVP.

It takes many volunteers to make a successful Troop. Troop 106 is fortunate to have many dedicated Adult and Scout Volunteers. We are currently looking for Adults and Scouts to fill the following open positions.
